Paul Riffel, Attorney at Law

Attorney Paul Riffel is an experienced, award winning Tampa lawyer practicing in the areas of estate planning, divorce and collaborative family law. Paul is now of counsel with Drummond Wehle Yonge LLP

Prior to joining Drummond Wehle Yonge LLP as Of Counsel, Paul has represented individuals and families in the Tampa Bay area for over 40 years. Paul Riffel, Attorney at Law, is well-equipped to handle nearly any legal issue regarding estate planning and family law. While much of his practice focuses on collaborative problem solving, he has represented clients in both jury and non-jury trials at the circuit and federal court levels. He frequently attends continuing legal education courses to stay abreast of new developments in the law.

Paul completed his undergraduate work at the University of South Florida, and received his law degree from the University of Stetson College of Law in 1982, graduating cum laude. While at Stetson College, he was associate editor of the Stetson Law Review. In addition to graduating with honors, Paul received the Freshman Moot Court Outstanding Participant Award and the American Jurisprudence Book Award in Damages.

In 2006, Paul received the Professionalism Award from the Family Law Inn of Tampa. This is a prestigious award given annually to one member of the Family Law Inn who exhibits professionalism and a high standard of ethics in his or her practice. He also finished his tenure as President of the Carrollwood Bar Association in 2006, and received the Brian Weakland Award for his service as President.

Paul is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts. He is a member of the Florida Bar (Family Law and Real Property and Probate and Trust Law Sections) and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
